The past few months have been a whirlwind of activity. Per the norm, right? There was pondering of what was to come. More debate about moving. Cutting bills out so one household income could be more livable. In March a friend and I began to toss around the idea of opening a new business. Once we put our heads to it the days really began to blend together. We have been successful so far in the conception and building of Earth & Soul Creations.
In the research of our product lines I have become more and more familiar with essential oils. I know I’ve only begun to scratch the surface. Have you ever looked into the world of oils? There is so much information about them, equally misleading articles as there are well educated articles; in the big picture makes it difficult to understand. However, I found one book that was extremely informative called, Essential Oil Truth; Facts Without the Hype by Jen O’Sullivan. It is one source that offers credible resource and exactly what the book says. Truth without the hype. No mention of one oil company or the other. Just the facts to educate essential oil users on what to look for.
Secondly, in my exploration of applying essential oils I began to see positive effects with my family. Extended family had even started to see positive things when I shared the information. It became very difficult to hold back the excitement of seeing hand’s on the benefits essential oils have been having here. Some of my Facebook friends are probably rolling their eyes and think I’ve gone off the deep end because I’ve been that excited at times. Long story short after a bit of research and testing the waters, I decided not only to work to build this business venture with a friend, but I have also signed up with Young Living to continue learning and exploring the benefits of essential oils.
At the end of May, we got to welcome my oldest 2 back to Alaska. This has only added to the fun and chaos. So far we’ve managed to see whales, eagles, hike for some mountain views, they have made new friends, had parties with old friends. At the beginning of June we even celebrated our youngest’s first birthday.
I will tell you what, the one thing that has me even more excited than my adventures with essential oils, is seeing all three of my babies together, happy, and enjoying each other’s company. Oliver has a knack for making people smile. Bella has been making beautiful creations and being a huge helping hand. Elijah, while we’ve had some bumps, has been creative and exploring ideas for making videos (He wants to publish to YouTube one day, babysteps) as well as an amazing walking coach for Oliver.
The times may be stressful on a wallet, but I feel the most rich I have in a long while with the love flowing through our doors and all the smiles, loves, and snuggles I get to experience. This is only a small snippet of the excitement over the past months.
All my Love,
